Still waiting for repair on my Kahles Bino 10x42. Been 13 mths so far and was in warranty. Last contact last year - JP tried to chase up the new NZ agent to no avail last Oct. Might claim insurance - hopeless really.

I was actually a bit disappointed that the NZ agents didn't have an ex demo loaner pair

Have made some enquiries with a very well connected German I've guided a bit.
He's extraordinarily well connected and frankly it wouldn't surprise me if he knew who owned Swarovski Optik

Well my friend doesn't know the Swarovski owners !

Sends me a picture a few days ago meeting a NZ Member of parliament at a function in Germany.
So I assumed he had good connections.
Turns out he does, but not the right ones to impress me

Well JP has sent a loaner pair of Swarovski binoculars to CHCH for me to have while mine are going back to Austria fro repairs.

So the offers form friends and forum members are appreciated but not required
And very happy with the Swarovski NZs efforts so far
