Greetings...from memory mags are hard to find for these ? Also unsure if there is any value in the wee scope attached ?

Wow the beauty of having fat fingers ! Trying to help a mate get rid of a few rifles from a deceased estate...i seem to remember a few of these rifles about in the 80's then they became JW15's ? Trouble was i was hammering my 10-22's and Model 14p Stirlings too much to pay proper attention !
Can get magazines regularly from Burley arms - contact them as to when they'll next have stock. It seems regular.
Toz 17 aftermarket magazine
I doubt the scope is worth much if anything. The rifle with the metal work in the condition I can see in the photo and no mag is probably worth little as well.
My first rifle. 1972. Same set up. Still have it but scrubbed the vanish off it way back. Several scopes later but original mag, shoots well. Always did. 1000’s of rounds through still good. About 1972, $1 got 50 rounds of hollow point Winchester and a few litres of petrol. Rabbiting for the weekend.
Thanks guys....appreciate the input...must be thinking of some other .22 where the mag is worth as much if not more than the rifle...i'll see what eventuates and probably end up listing a cheap cut down .303....Parker Hale Safari .270...single barrel shotgun and of course this quality Russian made precision .22 .... yeah yeah yeah nah !
Parker hale 270 you say
Mossberg Plinkster 10 rd mag is a good option when polished a little with emery paper for a tight friction fit. Load mag and insert up to a closed bolt. Firm but not slammed. Feeds perfect and does not drop out. I use one in preference to original.
I know a lot but it seems less every day...
mmm intrigued about the 270 although I doubt i have the available shelkels
Will keep in touch with you cs...liked yr posts about your Parker Hale projects ! Always wanted a 257 Roberts so this may be a project on the to do list...maybe see how this one shoots first...barrel is rough but it brings back memories of an estate rifle i used in the highlands in 1991 and it never let me down...
@Mangle cheers. really have to get around to putting the better trigger in my one and have another crack with it.
I was pretty happy when the 8x57 I got off muzza did 1 1/2 groups at a hundy. If it does that after the trigger i shouldn't really get too upset.
