Thread: T1x 22 vs 17hmr

Iv had both still have a .22 only reason I don’t have the 17hmr is I traded it for a Center fire some time ago as the rim fire was not getting used . Reason I have the .22 is it was $100 In light of a recent thread I though hot damn I’d get a lot more daily use out of a rimfire so why no have a somewhat nice one. Rather than a timeless classic I will go with the t1x and chuck it in a chassis to scratch two itchs at once . Chassis builds somewhat appeal to me as a target rifle but not hunting their for I somewhat want one but have no interest in a Center fire in a chassis likely the mdt for its mix with no standalone pistol grip. More “tacticool” rifle stock

However on a budget I can not afford both .22 and .17hmr but am open to owning both in time with 1 chassis to share between them . I’m trying to decide which first . My 17 was awesome very accurate no good for fur as it was messy but that’s a none issue now days the .22 is cheaper to run and am not handicapped to 17-20gn projectiles . I’m not intrested in shooting deer with it what do ever.

What day you and why? .22wmr would be ideal but not an option
