Tx1 are proving notorious for this. I’m hearing due to dry firing.

NZ isn't listed as an international address on their ordering menu.

The guy who makes them is on Snipershide and said that website would ship to NZ.
I'll get in touch with him and see what the story is.

Perhaps setting up a group buy and bringing in a bunch wouldn't be a bad idea.

ZP Machining is the guy. Saw his posts on those forums.
His website doesn't give an international shipping option unfortunately.

Pete's Pillars website used to ship internationally and stocked the firings pins, but no longer export from the US.

@Steve123 I don't think either the T1x or the CZ457 is inherently better than the other, both are capable of great accuracy with both the factory barrels and/or after market barrels.
I prefer the Tikka magazines, quicker and easier to change than CZ ones, and they are less prone to catching on things due to the shape.

The CZ is available in a wider range of rifles which is nice, the T1x in it's basic form really needs a few mods right out of the box (normal butt pad at a minimum) which is annoying, but for a hunting rifle the 16" T1x with the butt pad and vertical grip is a extremely capable rifle. I wish I'd bought a 20" model as I do more competition shooting that hunting but lots of guys use the 16" model in comps and do just fine.

I bought mine before the CZ457 was available, in some regards I think the CZ might be a safer bet, especially if there is a particular model that suits what you want to do.
However if you are going to upgrade the stock/chassis on it then it think you could go either way.

I have T1X, I will have a look at making a spare firing pin, I have made a few for other guns that have stood up ok. That said it’s bad news to dry fire 22,s

If it works out I could make a few…. Will keep you posted.

    Cheers

    @Beetroot

I've spoken to Ronny at Shooter. No and they've added NZ as a shipping option.

    Just placed my order.

Do you know if you have to send a copy of import permit to the seller, to put in with the parts when they send it?

Ronny said he hasn't needed permits in the past to send the pins from Norway.

Total pending charge is NZ $85.45 including postage.

The website showed an international postal charge of 125 Kr.
