The idea that it can take the same stocks is pretty good.
Can easily and cheaply build a good 22 trainer.

Means that you would be able to put a wooden Tikka stock on. If only we could get the boyds here a bit more easily..

That aspect makes it very tempting to actually own a tikka, could then be dropped in a carbon stock to duplicate my hunting rifle but like you said it will most likely carry a full size price tag. Especially with the hype and interest shown.

for a Tikka owner its got to be very tempting . . . maybe it will get more shooters interested in longrange work with rimfires . . i hope so

Would be a great learners rifle for the kids before a transition into a centerfire rifle with the same feel apart from the bolt and weight.

I wonder what weight they will be? A 17hmr one would be fun.

The weight is listed as 2.4kg for the 16" barrel and 2.6 for the 20".
Pretty good considering they have a somewhat heavy barrel.

RRP in the USA is 500usd, so Street price will be nearer 400usd.
Hopefully the price here will stay under a grand as the CZs are around $800.

I hope the barrel thread will be 1/2"x20 as and not x28" as I have heard online.

Don't think even my pointless spending could justify that much on some plastic.
