Which Tikka mag is best for 284 win.
Which hunting bullets suit 9.5T, 26" barrel, for pigs & deer. Close to 500m.

Go for the "L" Large magazine and you'll be sweet but make sure you have the "long" bolt stop installed so the bolt is pulled all the way back especially if it's a medium calibre like 7mm-08 that's been reamed out to .284

As for best bullets... I run 140 gr ballistic tips which have served me well... others use 162 gr ELDX's

140gr Berger VLD Hunting are also great for what you are after...in fact i have 2 unopened boxes for sale.

Lots of options especially with the long barrel 162eldm is a well priced cracker 160 BT 150 eldx 150 lrab 140 bt 140vld even 168vld

Std LA mag (270, 3006, etc) and LA bolt stop. I run 162 eldm in mine. So far effective from 10yds to 485yrs, no complaints.

Yeah another vote for the 162 eldm, very effective projectile at 284 speeds.
