T3 vrs T3x triggers - one of these is not like the other....

Just got a 223 t3x to be a goat banger and not worry about saving brass, unlike the T3 7mm-08 (in an identical aspire stock), well:

The T3x trigger is vastly inferior to the T3 one. With the same aftermarket 2lb spring the t3 one is much crisper, lighter and better. The safety blade (that blocks the trigger) in the t3x is slightly wider and thus the pull through after break is reduced on the t3x too. Both have had a touch of stone on the bolt sear to remove any small machining edge. both are lightly lubricated.

Hard to see why they're so different. I'd never consider an aftermarket trigger in the T3 but I'm changing my mind with the T3X....
Trout, rupert, Shearer and 1 others like this.
