Thread: Taking Brake on and off

Can you take a directional brake on and off without losing index? I have been thinking of building a kimber Mountain ascent copy from a montana but was thinking of picking up another Brake of Kiwi Greg to use instead of the factory radial brake. I would like the option of removing the brake at times.

The reason is I brought a MT ascent here in the USA cheap and it is awesome. With the brake I was able to spot my own shots which I have never been able to do which is nice when hunting solo alot.
