    444 does have some boot. If you're not wanting to spend much on optics you might be better with a Bushnell, or an air rifle rated Nikko etc. But....some of the early Tascos were pretty reliable and one of mine has performed well for 10 years.

    Tasco 4x32 more of a 22 scope - you'll just have to try it on the 444 and see.
