Has anyone tried the A-tec Optima 45 forward suppressor and compared them to a DPT or similar ?

I have the optima 45 over barrel on my rifle. It is in a class of its own. I have had hardy, dpt, gunworks and this out performs them all. Better recoil reduction and much quieter

I’ve got one on my Blaser R8 7mmRM, and we’re going to put on on the boys Sako 85 300WSM. AWESOME.
QD attachment makes for quick installation in the field if you carry it in a daypack.

I weighed mine at 304grams for a over barrel model. Length is 23cm.

Bing, strangely enough i have had property in Peel forest for 30 years and will be there next weekend (hopefully) so you could have a look if need be.

The fast lock system is awesome.

Has anyone removed the A lok adapter from a barrel before?

I put a tiny drop of red loctite on as blue wouldn’t hold up to the barrel heat. I assume high heat is the only possible method but can this be done without destroying the barrel?

I used heat gun, doesn't take much to soften red loctite 100ish deg...
