Buy a set of earmuffs shoot it when you want then, when you can, send it to someone that you know isn't incompetent.
I have a very pessimistic view of New Zealand gunsmiths. Stick with whoever you know can do it right.
How some get away with the shit work they do is unbelievable, I think it comes down to peoples unwillingness to name the gunsmith when they receive shoddy work.
Who do you recommend? I've recieved shit service and/or workmanship from a few gunsmiths that are highly regarded generally

Don't think I'll use Robbie. I doubt he'd be particularly keen to fit someone else's suppressor to my rifle, and everything I've had done by them hasn't been that flash... bedding not straight etc
Can only recommend Scott Trail - SSRNZ and Ross Collings - Outdoor supplies.
Both in Lower North Island however.
I'm in Palmy but still go to the hassle of couriers to bypass Hardy.
