    Is there a sako piccaninny rail?

    I'm told I need one to mount a thermal onto my sako vixen. I take it it's a piccaninny that fits onto a sako and not a sako product.

    Near or contessa do them or can just tap top of receiver and fix any rail cheers

    Leupold do a sako rings which will fit your dovtails. They do a 30mm super high which should work with say a 50mm objective lens pulsar for example. Suspect they wont work with some of the newer 60mm objectives though.....
