Thread: Thoughts/knowledge sought please

At the ripe old age of 60 with chronic fatigue and needing 2 knee replacements time is not on my side.
I would like to build a custom rifle that will see me out and used only by me.
Have a couple of 308 rifles that mates/ young adults use.
Thinking 243 as most of my deer shooting is under 250 yards but I might shoot a fallow a bit further out.
Prerequisites and non negotiable are
Stainless barrel ceracoted,carbon stock and detachable mag.
Have tikkas and dont want another.
Was thinking true flight barrel or something similar.Also l dont want to deal with hardys.
There goes the option of a hitech stock as well as hardy now owns it.
Circa 4 to 5 k and expection half moa at 100. Have a z5 to put on top and a dpt suppressor with a couple of additional baffles.
