About LinkBacksI know both the Ruger and the Howa and good hunting rifles, I've got several Howas myself so obviously to my mind it is the better. Also for your purpose, the factory 20" pencil barrel is handy in the tight bush, though I'm sure there is an Ruger that is offered in a carbine.
