Thread: Thoughts on the Sightron Hunter S1 Tac?

They any good. Thinking of getting one in 4-12x40 ( Sightron Riflescopes SI Hunter Series SIH-TAC412X40AOHHR ) for my H&R .223 and will eventually transfer it to a rem 700 .223. The other options were the vx1 or redfield in the same mag. Looking for opinions on the sightron. Nearly everything I have read about sightron is positive, but these scopes are brand new, so not sure. Having turrets isn't essential, but might be handy?

Sightron as a brand are good value ! i had 111 model a 10 to 50 power -a bit ugly but did a good job and was faultless in its work .This model is from their cheaper range being the 1 models but for the money and their internals I think you will be very happy -happier than having a redfield
