    Threaded 243 barrel

As you can see attached I have a barrel which has been threaded for a DPT suppressor. It seems like the barrel has been threaded a bit much and the end cap doesn't screw on properly.

Is there any way I can source an aftermarket piece to enclose the threaded area? I no longer want to use a suppressor.

    Cheers

Hey mate. You could considder cutting the first 3mm of threads away in the thread cap - thus enabling it to thread a little deeper/further.

Or, if you've got access to a lathe just cut a relief cut at the rifle and of the thread(removing the last 3mm of threads).

    Cheers.

Why don't you want to use a suppressor?

    Cool ok cheers.
@ROKTOY - its extremely mellow to shoot and trying to keep weight down. I do a lot of big walkin trips and would be lucky to shoot one round on a trip

We swopped some rifles to get DPT suppressors and took them into DPT. Enabled an exact fitting.
