    Threadlock on trigger

Just had a play with the trigger on one of my sakos as I have never touched it since new so lightened it up a bit and put some threadlock on the grub screw so it won't move. It says on the threadlock bottle that it takes 24hrs to fully cure, would I be alright shooting the rifle before then or could the vibration affect the integrity of the threadlock? Don't want to end up with a nasty surprise one day as I adjusted a similar trigger once and didn't use threadlock on it and bloody thing went off when I closed the bolt about 2 years, hundreds of rounds, and plenty of hunting trips after doing it, grub screw was loose.

You are good to go! Threadlocker sets up in about 15 minutes to a reasonably firm hold.

use one that can be taken off like Loctite 242 your trigger will wear smooth from use and lighten in time and need adjusting
nail polish works just as well and can be sourced from your better half

The colour chosen should match your handbag and gloves
