About LinkBacksIf you're relatively new to centrefire rifles then be aware the 270 does kick harder and boom louder than some of the other options, which can cause some new shooters to develop a flinch and miss everything. 25-06 a bit lighter on the recoil but still loud.
6.5x55, 7mm08, 308 will all kill things just as well without burning as much powder.
