    Tikka 223 Bush Hunter

    Gday fellas
Ive been googling Tikka T3x's as I'm looking to get a 223 for shooting the odd fallow. Has anyone got anything good or bad to say about the Bush Hunter package that H and F sell? Thanks for any info.

I have the rifle in .308, no complaints. Decided against a package for various reasons. All the components in the H&F package are good with the possible exception of the scope rings. Probably not an issue with a .223. You might want to make sure the twist rate suits you and cost up buying the individual components from different sources before buying.

My mate got one in .308 I think it was the v1 stupid little bit of fluting and barrel is a heavier contour than the standard.
I'm not sure if the v2 has been changed but I would just buy the std version or a superlite and get DPT to cut and thread it to 18"

He nui to ngaromanga, he iti to putanga.

You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
Sounds like a typical hunting trip !
