Thread: Tikka CTR aftermarket stocks

Hi all,

Looking at getting a Tikka CTR in creedmoor as a gong / PRS shooter. Question though re the stocks and mags, if I was to change stock to a KRG or chassis of some sort are there options available? Do the normal aftermarket ones fit once the old stock is gone?

Would run the stock as it is but just checking long term options

the standard stock should fit with the standard mag, the CTR has a little cut ahead of the mag well that does something but isnt needed in the T3
why you would loose the far cooler mag set up is hard to imagine
Hi tec stocks makes carbon for them (both the CTR and t3) and no doubt the PRS type dropped pistol grip one as well

Im not sure either, just looking at options further down the track if i needed to.

A bit more looking and KRG do a CTR version. Should have looked harder to start with

Are the 10 round mags just in the 223 version? / what is the mag capacity of the creedmoor?

Mag capacity of all CTRs is 10 rounds.
As you've discovered there is a version of the KRG Bravo that uses CTR magazine, but basically every other aftermarket chassis will use AICS mags.
You can go down the McMillan/Manners stock path which you can use with the factory bottom metal.

PSE Composites make an awesome stock but with your new regs import must be a real pain.
