Tikka's are fine, but their owners are great to wind up about Tikka's.

luv my Tikka 308, also have a 270 Midland not so keen on that. Probably the maker and not the calibre. All thought I'm not a fan of a big bang.

    Wow, Found one
I had a Midland 270 when I was a young fella, couldn't hit shit with it.
All this time I simply assumed they stopped making them after they made the one they sold me because they were crap , but no, it seems they must have made two.

Something the .270 haters either choose to forget ( or didn't know in the first place!), is that the MIGHTY .270 is in fact the only true 7mm! the smarmy 7mm label mob pretend to be, but they are a bit fat, the next size up, a bit like the fat chick wearing a size down to try and fool ya.......

Tobes, the generic calibre size usually refers to the BORE size, not the diameter of the grooves. 7mm cal is 7mm because the bore size (measured with a bore pilot bushing) is usually 0.275" to 0.277" (7mm) whereas the groove diameter is nominally 0.284". The bullets are usually sized to match this larger diameter.

Same thing with 6.5cal. The bore size is 0.255" to 0.256" (6.5mm) and the groove diameter is 0.264" .

    Does that explain it ok?
