Hey don't bring me into it this is all @Gibo fault :)
Where did you find the 4 tikkas that sheep has shat out?
Have friends with Tikka's and own a couple of .270's so can't vote. I will have to go with Waikato
Beat me to it!
You wanna ride? She doesn't bite
*defends the mighty 270 against the smarmy 7mm wankers*
Just happy to see the 'Latte 7-08' not mentioned.....oh shit..........what have i said????????
rate both highly and in combo unstoppable...................... a worst combo would be a 7m08 xbolt, that would make me vomit
whyd you let your sheep shit inside?
you should go shit in its paddock for some revenge.
My Tikka just accounted for a bucket load of Aussie 4 legged critters
Tikka's are fine, but their owners are great to wind up about Tikka's.
luv my Tikka 308, also have a 270 Midland not so keen on that. Probably the maker and not the calibre. All thought I'm not a fan of a big bang.
By crikey @Toby ya cheeky shit I will be second in line from rushy to give you that nipple twist when we get a chance to catch up with ya :P
agreed
Something the .270 haters either choose to forget ( or didn't know in the first place!), is that the MIGHTY .270 is in fact the only true 7mm! the smarmy 7mm label mob pretend to be, but they are a bit fat, the next size up, a bit like the fat chick wearing a size down to try and fool ya....... :P
Quick question, why call it a .270 if its .277 or a .303 if its .311? you get the drift
Toby,
Tikka's are only pooze to people who don't own them, i don't own one yet so...................................
270,Mouse gun :)
Tobes, the generic calibre size usually refers to the BORE size, not the diameter of the grooves. 7mm cal is 7mm because the bore size (measured with a bore pilot bushing) is usually 0.275" to 0.277" (7mm) whereas the groove diameter is nominally 0.284". The bullets are usually sized to match this larger diameter.
Same thing with 6.5cal. The bore size is 0.255" to 0.256" (6.5mm) and the groove diameter is 0.264" .
Does that explain it ok?
D.
So what is your sons name Brads? I know the little ones a full of shit:D
Rough ass dairy farmers and the like.
On the way home from picking up a sick daughter from school I suggested we stop at the range to see how my Tikka was shooting. So set up a target at 100mtrs and fired 2 shots, I had only had brought 3 bullets with me as I had intended to have a quick looksee for a pig that has been hanging around the lambing paddocks. I suggested to the Daughter (16yrs) to have a shot with the last bullet. I'm happy with that result, we only had a pac for a rest. Pity I hadn't taken a couple of more bullets and tweeked it to the right 6clicks.

It appears to be zeroed two inches to the left of centre.
He might have a scope with 1cm clicks :D
, that's what I was saying ,a couple of bullets more for fine tweeking would of been good. but very pleased with the group
