The 595 is a nice rifle all right. Really need a different stock though.
They seem to hold value though, hard to pick one up second hand in good nick for a decent price.

Personally, yes. I Don't have a clue what its possibly worth however.

I bought my last 595 for $600, so to see them for 1200 seems steep! Times change though

Holy crap they ARE like hens teeth. How much do they want for it? I got my blued/wood for $700 but it had been camo painted and had a monopod in the heel of the stock (I know). Cost me about $500 to fix everything and get a suppressor fitted. However it is left handed making it even rarer (waited a year to find one). I would expect to pay at least $1200-1500 for yours. Some people want $2000+ If you get it for less than $1200 IMO it's a good deal.

Yeah I got my first right hand one for that in the late 90s for $600 with a scope. Some knob hadn't cleaned the barrel and put it away, returning to find it rusted. fortunately the damage was minor and after 20 passes with Sweets 7.62 and another 20 with toothpaste it looked great.

I think I payed 8-900 for mine? took a bit of selling on here.
