What’s everyone using for a standard tikka stock? Only need a small amount, not a large one. Ideally after something simple that’s not overly intrusive on the rifle. I see some of the newer tikka variants have a small riser on them, something simple like that be ideal.

I just use high density foam and vet wrap for my 300. Does the trick.

The twinneedle stock pack does look a bit intrusive on the rifle but i find just that on its own gives me the perfect amount of height. Can always put some foam under it if ya want to lift it. Handy having some rounds close at hand also. Il be putting one on all my rifles eventually.

Work ok. They do have a small flaw tho...the front removable piece comes loose under recoil. I just run a length of black duck tape along the length, and it's been 100% since.Quote:

Had the same issue as Philipo - but it happened in deep snow. Then when warmed up again, one side warped out like in his photo. Used tape but too cheap & nasty for me. Now have the tikka aftermarket cheek riser fitted.
Yea interesting. My one arrived yesterday and I was a little underwhelmed with its quality. I guess that’s the price you pay though at $40 vs $160 for the Tikka one.Quote:
