    Tikka Superlite

Who has shot one? It's the T3 with a factory fluted barrel.

I need a new 22-250 and this is looking good, but I would prefer a 8" twist for 75gr pills, would a 223 be better then ream it out and open the bolt face?

    Cheers.

I have a tikka t3 .223 1:8 twist. Standard the 75gr amax wont load from the magazine. I have tried recently. If your single feeding it will work with a sled. As far as other 75 gr projectiles im unsure. I am currently using 64gr nosler partition which work alright for me hope this might help you with your research.

Keep in mind you will need a different mag for 22-250. But that sounds like a good idea to shoot 75 or 80 grain projectiles.
I am loading 75 amax's for our 223s and an getting 2800fps at mag length with AR2206H FWIW

Are you using a tikka t3? If so, would you mind letting me know how you get the rounds to feed? I had no luck when i had a go.

I didn't do much. Just set the projectiles about half a mil or so off the front of the mag. And they feed good as. It is one of the mags with the steel insert. Just bought an older one the other day. But haven't tried it out yet

There is a T3 SUPERLIGHT sold in the US by Sportsmans Wharehouse for about USD$750 - it has a factory fluted barrel and the standard T3 synthetic stock. They also have the non fluted SS models for about $700.

I just helped a mate sight in a .308 SUPERLIGHT with an after market Bell and Carlson Medalist stock - smooth action, accurate and the stock feels solid.

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

I wondered why your pic was up side down, then I realised that it's because you're on the other side of the world
