The barrels are unlikely to be shot out, the 260 will shoot under a 1/2" at 100 yards and shoots under moa out to 600 yards.
The .223 has had less than 1000 rounds through it and most has been factory ammo.

Maybe youre just being too honest? read some forums, theres heaps of guys out there getting 3100fps with 143's from their 260's....
