    Tikka T3 Scope Ring Advice

    Friend just brought one in 308 , leupold scope going on , what are the go to rings for the T3's ? Talleys ?

    Yes, Talleys have been light and reliable for me.

    Yes. Although I have not heard of anyone having issues with the standard Tikka rings supplied.
    Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

    Talleys. I have heard mixed reports on the Tikka factory rings.

    I had Talley extra low rings on my Tikka, scope objective was 40mm. Heaps of clearance.

    Yep go extra lows, I had a VX6 in mine & no issues.

    Either Tikka Optilocks but Game Reaper are hard to beat. Imported direct from the States. Forum member posted his rifles with them. Convinced me. Quality .

    The Talleys , do they have a locating pin for the Tikka and do they usually line up mint or do you need to lap them , I’m guessing they have screw torque specs with them when buying new ?

    my tikka was bought from gun city with a ranger and weaver ring, changed to leupold but kept the weaver, shoots every animal in the head every time

    Ive got talleys on one , Optilocks on the other . Both good .
