Managed to get out in the weekend and blood the new rifle.
Took a few different ammo types to test out too as it has the 1-12 Twist barrel but only used the Hornady 55gr PSP as it shot so well after sighting in and light was fading.
A couple of young Goats were neck shot at 120m and a couple of Turkeys also got belted at the 180m mark.
The next morning after some Bacon and Eggs we wandered around the farm and found a few Goats at 180m so we decided to try for a head shot...
Rainbow Lorikeets are one of my favourite birds to smash and one obliged by landing next to a decent sized boulder at 100m
This rifle was bought by my Old man for our boys. It's the perfect starting Centrefire as it's bloody accurate, feeds smooth and light to carry. It points nicely and shoots cheap ammo too so that's a bonus.
Weighs in just over 9lb as pictured with the Buckmaster 6-18x40
Whilst walking back to the Hut some Turkeys were lurking at 280m a few "Ranging shots" found the middle of the second circle on the BDC Reticle was POI so a couple more Turks went down.
Super impressed with this Rifle.
