Thread: Tikka T3xi .308

As posted somewhere else, 14x1 usually just clears the flutes on the tikka / sako barrels so you have a nice round thread.
Occasionally , but rarely, one or two flutes might be slightly deeper than the rest, and their bottom radius show up on the top of the thread, but other than the aesthetic , the threads are still strong and functional and seal properly so that no gases flow back.

Thanks for all your input. Much appreciated. Will be a bit shorter than the Majestic .270 in the scrub. Will be buying soon then off to DPT for the chop. Cheers
