A spring isn't going to fix creep in any way
A spring isn't going to fix creep in any way
I'm not even sure creep is the right term...but there is some slack to gather before getting into final trigger pull.
I was surprised by this as I have heard nothing but good things about the Tikka triggers.
I could live with it (so far I'm shooting groups that couldn't be better given my limitations).
Reading some overseas threads made me think about this path...I mean its $10.
USD10 + postage, possibly = NZD20 by the time it landed. Gun parts, no US State Department restriction or NZ Import restriction? Just curious![]()
True on the price...the guy is happy to send them.
The other option is to get the spring out and head off to the local spring maker...we have one in town.
I'm sure he could measure the springs vital stats and supply one to suit.
The thread I read was not just about getting a lighter trigger but moving the trigger away from the extremes of its adjustment.
I noticed when the gun was apart that the adjusting screw was hard against the retaining bolt head.
I could adjust the screw in a fraction to see if things improve.
