Yip there are definitely some fantastic aftermarket stocks for the Tx1 a short google confirms this.

I have too many 22s but a quick google made me realise you can put an extremely fancy piece of walnut on one of these things. Fancier than fancy .22s, and in a real rifle size.
Kids .22,s have their place and always will and long may that last.
But what I like, is proper rifles, not Rimfires made for people born in a throw away era.

Why do you want a wooden stock?
I thought I'd miss the wooden stock from my CZ452 when I bought my T1x, but I honestly have never given it a second thought.
I bought the vertical grip from day one and would never go back to the hunter style grip.
I had a small play with a CZ457 at Gillies practical shoot and didn't feel as though I was missing out anything with my T1x.
I always shoot suppressed so went for the 16" barrel which I'd definitely recommend.
@Beetroot
It's great when things suit, good on you
I want a walnut stock and a blued barrel, .. because I do, Thats the way I'm heading these days.
Anyway TJ is doing the Haka, gotta go.

I like the T1x having the same ergonomics of the centerfires, the finishing in some places is not as good as it could be. Have shot mine out to 200m no problems. If your looking for a nice wood blue rifle I would also look at a Sako as another option.
I tried to put a carbon stock on my T1x for shits and gigs but wouldn't fit as the bolt release is in a different place so depending on how they have been inletted might need modifying, wouldn't be a major on a timber stock.
@Fly-My-Pretties. Well they are running 1200 Canadian, hopefully the NZ importer won't be such arses as Beretta NZ and will trim as much as they can. @Cooper, Sakos everywhere mate, would like something equally as respected but with a point of difference.

How about something really special, I have a Browning reproduction of the Winchester Model 52 sporter that I'll be selling soon. Its a full size 22 rifle, all blued steel and walnut (except the ebony tip on the fore-end) and it has the "micro-motion" model 52 trigger ??
yip,
does it shoot?
how heavy?

Shoots well. 3.3kgs with 24" barrel. This was designed as a true "man size" 22 hunting rifle and thats exactly what it is. Smooth as silk, fine checkering, a pleasure to hold and shoot.
It’s funny how Tikka centrefire are meh, but Tikka rimfire are cool.
I own a Tikka centrefire and a CZ rimfire. Guess I’ll never be cool!
Get the CZ, you can put a wooden stock on a T1 but theres nothing "proper rifle" about a plastic bottom metal, plastic magazine, plastic bolt shroud....
