Mine just had 4 little plastic plugs forced/threaded into the holes with a fragile little screwdriver slot in the top which started ripping as soon as you threaten to turn the bloody things. You are welcome to those if you want em.....

@Ftx325 I sure my tikka has 4 black headed steel screws with a slot, i could be wrong. i will see if any turn up.
Just reread your thread title @bigbear and mine is a new T3X ... Not tx3... Different set-up maybe....

@Ftx325 sorry mines a t3x as well
Yep, plastic plugs on the t3x. Need to but mounts/screws separate
So you guys are right they are plastic screws, had another look on line tonight and found this video how to remove them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8Iye2ky61Q
They are more akin to a tapered grub screw @bigbear as they don't have a head on them like a screw.
It may be worth trying to find out the thread as they may even be metric not being an american rifle which may mean any engineering firm or bolt shop may have some to fit. I tried to remove my rail screws and check for you but I have loctited the shit out of them and they won't budge....

Just did a quick Google and they should be 6-48 national fine special thread so not metric.... haven't used metric since around 2003 apparently but that nfs thread is considered to be industry standard now supposedly so I guess any scope mount screws should fit if that's any help.
If you are after grub screws to blank off the holes rather than mounting screws I have some metal grub screws out of my shottie receiver that might be correct thread. The rail I purchased came with screws that didn't fit so I drilled and tapped holes metric instead to save all the hassle finding screws to fit.
