Bit of moly slip or Indian head on threads seems to stop the rot, powder residue creeps in everwhere

Shit that's actually genius. Mine get broken down as much as possible and a soak in dilute simple green a scrub with whatever fits that's brush related, rinse, dry (thoroughly) Little bit of solid lube stick on threads and that's about it.

Don't do what my mate did, he got so obsessed with following the "cleaning" instructions he didn't realise that the last lip on the suppressor was part of the body, he thought it had a seized baffle, put in the vice & ripped the factory loctite apart, nearly fucked the suppressor completely.

    You guys are rough #######

Just do it properly and go get two Boa Straps from Bunnings, M10, Placemakers etc and do it properly

I'm not at home and don't have a DPT in front of me but from memory there is a small groove machined into the first section that looks like it comes apart but doesn't.
Just a nice trap for learners

The Boa Straps are great for lots of non suppressor tasks

They come in a large range of sizes for tiny to massive diameters.
The really big alloy handled ones can take your total body weight no worries.

You do need two for the suppressors to work against each other rather than putting the body in the vice
