I have quite a few rifles, some of them very collectible and rare.
BUT I have One Rule: I need to (and do) use ANY of my rifles for hunting, as the mood takes me.
This Rule has worked well for me.
What's the point of a lingerie model girlfriend sitting in your garage? :wtfsmilie:

@Copelli well that all depends what you get up to in the garage

The worst scratches and dings on a rifle are the ones that they collect in the safe - no mana in them at all...

Yeah i hate it
I hear it alot
Guys have awesome antique rifles and go oh no I wouldn’t fire it it’s to old and valuable
Guns are made to be shot
If the gun is in good functional condition and you are sure that you load your own ammo to period specifications
Ie black powder if that’s what it was designed for
You will not damage the gun by using it for its intended purpose
It’s only when you put modern loads in a 150 year old gun that you have issues
I have an original 1874 enfelid snider that i shoot alot it’s awesome fun and because im not expecting it to do more than it was originally intended infact im only using a reduced load from the original snider load so im asking it to do less than intended

when you get on some of the African-type forums and see some of the valuable classic guns and calibres used it's an eye opener.
