    Torch Batteries

    Hi All
    I am looking at getting some batteries for my Maxtoch, it has Ultafire 18650 4000mAh batteries looking for people who have purchased in NZ or overseas.
    Just not sure as there are some no so honest suppliers out there.
    @gadgetman

    cheers

    Try emailing Amanda, here are problems shipping them as batteries but you can ship a 'torch' which includes batteries

    A mate has managed to get Panasonic protected button top through gearbest recently. Other than that Amanda.

    Anything above 3400mAh is pure fiction and would likely be less that 25% of the stated figure.

    I have purchased a heap of these over the last couple of years from EBay some of my torches take 8 at time, check out the seller get the best price many of them will ship internationally at good rates. My charger tells me how much power they take to charge and they all seem good though you do have to watch out for generic copies

    With the new high output lights like the Maxtochs you need 3400 mAH rather than 2900s for optimum runtimes. Amanda will be back on deck after chinese new year 8 Feb and the maxtoch 3400s (rebranded panasonics) will do the trick:

    Sorry for the thread resurrection, I thought it would save time since my question is of a similar vein.

    I realise that Amanda has 18650's back in stock for around $25 usd for the rebranded 3400 Panasonics...
    @mudgripz Is it worth trying to save a few dollars and getting these off fasttech instead?

    https://m.fasttech.com/p/3921300

    Will be using them for a Maxtoch 2x and Convoy C8...

    Thanks

    Matu

    Or get a hold on Quentin and get him to mod your torch so you can use a decent battery

    Matu - battery freight to NZ by FastTech can be pretty haphazard. I'd go for the maxtoch 3500s. Better batteries and more reliable service.
