    Torch mounting options?

Hey guys I have a new Maxtoch to go on my 10/22 as a walking spotlight and was wondering what mounts people were using. Have a few but they don't hold the torch high enough above the scope. Any ideas?

Got one of those velcro/rubber dealies for the P7, about $26. A bit cheap and nasty but works ok.

I used a clamp type on the scope but got a bit of glare reflecting back from the can. I tried a few mounts then thought bugger it, In the end i got my joiner mate to machine a flat on the bottom of my 17s stock and bolted a picatinney rail to it.
Torch was 25mm so a shitty scope mount i had lieing around did the job nicely. Now I know not everyone will like it but it works for me.

I use what Kscott posted and a high ring to clear the scope.. all from Aliexpress so didn't cost much at all...

Yeah this is my current setup just with what I had. Works but not ideal.

+1 GMH/KScotts suggestion - does the job perfectly. The tall rings mounted onto the wee picatinny rail allow M24 to clear scope bell well. Quick on/off too.

If you get glare off your can the easiest option is to mount the torch further back so that the suppressor is in the shadow of the scope bell.

why not under the barrel, works great for me and easier to turn off and on with your left hand.

I made the barrel - standard 10/22 barrel with a Maniatis suppressor, then turned down part of the barrel to allow an alloy shroud to slip over it.
Very quiet, and the torch slung underneath gives me no scope glare.
Torch is a Convoy C8 XML2 with a smooth reflector.
