torque Settings for scope rings and bases

Is there somewhere i can find a list of torque settings for a good range of rings and bases to print and put on the wall as quick reference?

    Cheers

Reputable manufacturers normally reference torque values somewhere on their site.
Can't say I've ever come across a list like you're after.
Google has always been quick reference enough for my needs.

I had a scope fitted by a gun smith here in Tauranga, all torqued up "correctly", I could get the ring caps off without buggering every screw! don't know what that does to a scope? I think Ryan has it right and just watch the surfaces coming together evenly.

I thought the problem was that they couldn't be and that trg rings are weak, that's why they have three rings for redundancy

    What he said!

Warne lists 25in/lb for steel rings and 30in/lb for the bases.

I was advised a few years ago and now I run all my alloy scope rings at 15"lbs since I bought a proper torque driver. Haven't had one slip or loose zero yet.
