    Torque specs

Looking for the torque specs for my new M18 as I want to put on an MTN pic rail. I found a couple of figures online of 5nm and 41ft/lbs. Anyone know if these are correct? I use a fat wrench which of course is in imperial.

    Cheers HJ

5nm is for the action screws on the M18. Not for optics screws or any other screws on the rifle. That is the figure quoted to me by Mauser when I asked them for the torque settings on the M18. If you PM me an email address, I would be happy to forward you the email if you would like.

Don’t you use the wrong screw driver and torque it up until they wreck the screw head and call it done
