You need an import permit for any parts that comprise an A Cat action - inc trigger. You need an import permit for any part of the gun if it is E-Cat.

We got pinged by customs a couple of weeks ago for importing some spare springs and roll pins that form part of an AR action. These parts are probably available at any good NZ engineering store. Our supplier had labled them "machined parts". Customs are very sensitive at the moment.
