You can lighten them by cutting 1/2 a coil- a full coil of the spring
I done it to my 6.5 Grendel and it’s awesome
Do it a bit at a time and test it if you do take a little to much off
It’s still adjustable with the screw but take a little off put it back together test it if you want it lighter
Take it back apart and cut a little more off and test again

I suggest doing this with the adjuster screw about halfway between lightest and Heaviest setting so you still have adjustment in ether direction to tune it just how you want it
