    TRIPOD

    What is a good tripod for spotting scope, don't need carbon, just something solid.

    I use a Slik Sprint Pro with a ball head.
    Basic but sturdy, and easy to use.

    I have one of these and rate it. Don't buy a short tripod that requires you to have your glass sitting up on a centre section they're never stable

    Tricer are really solid, i have the short one and sit for spotting or shooting, 99% of my shots out to 450 are off a tripod now and the tricer with their pan head is mint
