Thread: Tripod head recommendations for Delta Titanium 50ED

Now I have moved on my big Vortex 85mm spotting scope and gone down to the midget Delta Titanium 50ED , my existing tripod (Vortex Pro GT) is just too large. I've been looking at some lightweight tripod options, but most seem to come with a Ball Head, rather than a Fluid Head which is what I'm use to.

For those that use a ball head mount with their spotting scope, are there any pitfalls or issues I should know about?
