Thread: Tripod head recommendations for Delta Titanium 50ED

I’ve always used ball heads because they are more compact, the cheaper ball heads have been shit. The best ball head I’ve tried has been a manfrotto 494. At the moment I’ve got a slik mini sprint tripod, was planning on changing the ball head to a manfrotto 494 but haven’t needed to as the one that came on the slik mini sprint does the job well with a 65mm spotting scope on it. It’s probaly slightly easier to pan around if you’re glassing with a fluid head but still easily doable with a ball head. That’s what binos are for anyway
