I have already bought myself a Christmas present (Stag 300 Blackout Upper) so one of these in 308 cal will have to wait till next year.
So I have just bought the 308 version.
Could not resist it any longer.
Once I have it in my hands and have given it a blast, I will do a quick report on what its like.
I have now got my hands on it.
Initial impressions:
Smooth action
Very good fit and finish
Very good triger considering its stock. Little creap but then a crisp break.
16" Barrel means it feels reasonable handy considering its a .308
I will stick a spare Vortex Strike 1-6 on it for the first shots.
It may be unfortuantly a couple of weeks before I get to the rifle range but as soon as I do, I will give a more indeepth review.

how are you going to mount a bipod without it interfering with the pump action?
Anyone know whats the used brass is like to reload with the chamber fluted? and how many times can you reload them?

50 rounds down range and as you would expect not a single issue.
I will take it out again next Sunday and stretch out to 200 meters to see what she can really do.
Today was sighting in and shooting groups at 50m.
Getting the majority of rounds to touch each other at this distance was easy so it looks like it will be a good shooter.
Further comments.
This gun is really really well made. The machining is top notch as is the fit and finish.
Trigger while being crisp is too heavy so I have another on its way from NZGuns.
I am also considering a can. If anyone can recommend a good one, please let me know?
The Vortex strike eagle scope works well on the rifle.
The factory comp works well but it is loud as they all are. Recoil is just a push.
The fired brass has the slightest lines from the chamber fluting but while you can see the lines, I can’t feel them. I will load the fired cases tonight with some 155gn HBC from NZGuns and some CFE223 powder.
So so easy to clean this gun. No gas system so it’s like cleaning a bolt gun but easier as the bolt comes completely apart easily.
Once I put some more rounds down range, I will do another short report.

Awesome, keep us informed.
I purchased one of the Waitaki cans for mine to try out. Works very well, stainless steel baffles, nice and short too but is a little on the heavy side for a muzzle forward. Weight doesn't bother me as these rifles are light.
