Twist rate 223 rem 700

Father inlaw got a new rem700 in 223 , what would the twist rate of barrel be please ?.

If it's a standard sporter (SPS etc) then 1-in-12. Tactical model, most likely to be 1-in-9. Varmint models can be either, depending on particular model.
