Uber light Suppressors

Atec CMM 4 works great for ordinary calibres. For magnum I'd go Maxim. I have a CTM 4 myself I think ???... and a Maxim Titanium.
Roedale should work as well as it is a direct copy of Atec (apparantly he was caught redhanded at IWA a couple of years ago - he had mixed in an Atec module in a mounted "Roedale researched moderator :D )

I cannot really comment on other moderator as I haven't used them much, but there is an abundance of good moderator tests in Scandinavian magazines (measured tests, not subjective). Hausken, S&L and that finnish brand I cannot remember the name of all scores well but no moderator does it all (min weight & max moderation) but there certainly is HUGE differences in the effectiveness.

We also have a Spigoted model that allows owners of rifles already machined with the spigoted type thread, that in use with some of the BR Tuote Reflex T8 Moderators
to convert to the Roedale Delta Moderator without having to have thier rifles re threaded and without having to make do with an unsightly gap between the Moderator
and the step of the spigot to the main barrel diameter.

Would this go some way to reinforcing the end of your barrel and reducing leverage ?

Yes that is there to provide extra support so it doesn't get knocked out of alignment. In my opinion it is nessacery if you don't want you muzzle to be fragile.

I believe it is an adapter as many barrels on the UK market is already threaded for the BR moderators ???
Edit: See above. What LR says is what I've been told as well, much better support in an overbarrel version with a support at the back as well.

You must use 44 gallon drums as your can for the cannons you use.:D

i had to change all baffles to steel with my WSM as they kept wanting to come out the muzzle. not a big job and doesnt add f all weight

IMHO it is a waste of time suppressing the full length magnum cases....:)

Big suppressors, big mirage, big recoil, whats not to like..... quiet though.......

We have a new range of Titanium suppressors on the way. Currently designed for the AR15 in .223. Very light and hearing safe.

Thank you for the interest in the titanium suppressors. Sorry for the delay in replying but there have been several issues to clear up before making any information public and there are a few still to go.

The suppressors are of a novel design that has NZ patent application pending. They are out of development for the two current 556 AR15 models but several more are under development including a 762x51 which is being built now. Now that the fabrication methods are established we are ramping up production.

The suppressors are completely monolithic. Not just a monolithic core, the entire suppressor is one integral unit from sintered Ti6Al4V Titanium powder. Laser sintering uses a laser to selectively melt powdered titanium into the desired shape. 98% density gives this structure a yield strength twice that of stainless allowing the lightest possible suppressor without redundant spacer rings, threaded assemblies or other unnecessary support structures. Ultra precise manufacturing process allows tolerances of +/- 5 microns.

Comprehensive material usage provides the strongest, lightest, most efficient suppressor in the world. All this at a price that is comparable with high end SS suppressors while weighing half the weight of stainless.

Laser sintering allows for intricate baffle design that in many cases would be impossible for conventional manufacturing methods to replicate. Custom designs can be accommodated within a few weeks from concept to finished part.

Using these manufacturing methods, complex over the barrel designs allow the length of the suppressor to be reduced and the centre of gravity of the suppressor to remain at the muzzle or behind it. This eliminates the “top heavy” feel of many suppressors.

Light weight and over barrel design ensures that the point of aim / point of impact is virtually unchanged with the suppressor on or off.

Titanium is exceptionally corrosion proof and resistant to heat degradation of rapid fire retaining 99% of its strength up to 600 degrees Celsius.

Currently available are two models for AR15's:

556 -47 is about 230 grams and about 150mm oal with 47mm recessing over the barrel from the shoulder and 85mm from the muzzle. This unit is selling now for 725 inclusive. This works very well on the NEA 14.5" with a standard rail.

556 -110 is about 245 grams and about 185mm oal with 110mm recessing over the barrel from the shoulder and 61mm from the muzzle. This unit is selling now for 760 inclusive. This one works well with the NEA 14.5" with a carbine length rail. It also works well on a standard M4 or 20" ar15.

In test is a 762 - 82 which is about 264 grams and about 185mm oal with 82mm recessing over the barrel from the shoulder and 88mm from the muzzle. This unit is expected to sell for 765 inclusive. Initial testing will be on a MSSA to test the durability in IPSC type shooting.

All units are supplied grit blasted which gives a rough non-reflective surface and PVD coated with aluminium titanium nitride finish which is oiled to provide a very dark charcoal grey. If people would prefer bead blasting for a smoother finish, we will switch to that. Mill spec coating for Flat Dark Earth, Coyote Green or other colors is available at additional cost.

Currently, all units are made 50mm diameter but that can be changed for individual preferences. Keep in mind that all design is a compromise and reducing the diameter will reduce the volume since the length is fixed for the next three months until a new machine arrives. At that time units can be made large enough to accommodate up to 50 BMG.

Ancilliary reasons include:

Heaps? Wildman and Jakewire each have CMM-4, they work well. A little long.

Isn't Stoeger Sports the agent in NZ for them? I know Quentin brought a few in a while ago too.
