Chinese. Careful of the plunger thing when loading. If it slams shut while inserting the pellet, you'll need to swap hands to the other one that still has fingers.

Chinese unnamed springer is my take on it.

Does not even have the usual machined grooves for an 11mm scope mount.

Only important question is, how accurately does it shoot?

There is usually - should be - a block preventing trigger release of the piston when the cocking handle is back.

Thanks guys, interesting it still fires,i reckn it would stop a rabbit at 20yds.But when im cocking it,im hanging on the handle like its the last jug of beer in the country. My wife tells me she wants a air rifle now but not this finger cutter.I thort about spending a couple of hundy at the most to fix it.But might be easier to spend 4-5hundy and get a brand new scope combo rabbit killer.

Strip it down and check out the ratchet mechanism, might be an easy fix. If you go for a new rifle make sure you get something decent like a Cometa Fusion, the Gamos/Hatsans/Crosmans etc that are at the same money are just rubbish in comparison.

If you want a Plinker, I have some Baikal springers here, but they would not be up to rabbits......(Baikal 512M) The 513M were good rifles suitable for rabbits but are almost impossible to find now.

I had something similar but an underlever. Would put a bit of lead through the thick end of an nail box at 40m.
