Well i like my xp38 thermion, great fov and pretty clear. I can only compare it to my xq38 accolades but i wish i had splashed out the extra 3k and gotten the xp50 accolades because the clarity is a step down compared to the xp thermion, not much but noticeable. My guess is the 640 sensor is always going to be more betterer than the 384?

I will add that im new to the thermal game but i bought the scope as a do all piece of gear and after my first outing decided that waving the gun around to spot everything wasnt all it was cracked up to be so bought binos the next day.

If i had to do it again i would spend the money on the spotting gear and take a hit on the optic as most of my time would be spent looking and not shooting. If you are made of money then get the top of the line spotter and scope.

On the plus side the mrs was buzzing when we went out as we both owned the night.

If you can afford it, go for accolade 50 with lrf. I cull animals on crops etc. I use it spot the game, wander up, flick on spotlight, suppressed 243 with illuminated reticle does the rest. I’ve tried a thermal scope, didn’t like trying to spot game waving around rifle. Makes collecting meat pretty easy.

Mate, that's exactly what I did. I brought a xp50 thermion scope, returned it 2 weeks later as didint like it.
Upgraded to a pair of of xp50 lrf accolades and they are amazing.

That would be great. A clip on nv attachment to go onto a 50mm knj scope would be perfect

I just use my thermal scope as a handheld. I can then use the quick attach mount to put on my blaser if I feel the need, or just use a torch
