Thread: upgrading from a vortex pst.

If you don't want the vortex then go for a Sightron for more power. Hard to beat bang for buck wise and they dial really nicely. They also have excellent glass.
The Nikon Monarch sure has nice glass but it's not a step up really more sideways as they are not really a dialling scope... They do offer a prostaff 7 that is 30mm tube and dials but I have not tried it or the new monarch dialling system.
I had a 6-24*50 monarch that was super nice glass and the BDC was pretty solid out to 450 y.
