Are they new, or new to you? There is nothing really techo about them. Look, press button, get the red target box up first then second press for range.
What are you comparing them against?
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Watching thread with interest to see if there is any tips.
Is there a best time of day to get further ranges? Like dusk or dawn or middle of the day in lots of sun?

The best time to range things is when there is the least amount of sunlight

Not to mention fog or rain either

I know they are new, but you could try scratching Swarovski or Bushnell on to them and they might go better

is the battery new in them? I notice the range at which I can get a reading reduces as the battery gets older. having a steady pair of hands also helps with getting a reading on longer distances.

My blaser works well with all its barrels why would I give a rats ass about one that I have no control over, that doesn't shoot?
Lieca RF binos are notoriously weak when it comes to ranging.........

I had to read the manual to know how to range something haha. I first used the red button and thought, 0, 30c, 1016 isn't a range haha
